Aquasonic – Bactonex

Aquasonic Bactonex helps prevent bacterial, fungal, and protozoal infections—including Velvet, Whitespot, Chilodonella, Trichodina, and Trichodinella—in both freshwater and marine fish.

When to Use

• During routine water changes.

• When introducing new fish or treating fish in quarantine systems.

• When fish appear listless, stressed, or have reduced appetite.

Directions for Use

• Not for use on fish intended for human consumption.

• Ensure the aquarium is well aerated throughout treatment.

• Remove activated carbon from filtration during treatment, as it will absorb the medication.

• If using under-gravel filtration, reduce flow rates during dosing.

• This product contains a dye that may stain if spilled—handle with care.

Dose Rate

• Add 10 mL per 40 litres of aquarium water.

• Repeat the dose after 5 days if required.

• Do not overdose.

• If no improvement is observed, seek advice from your veterinarian or aquarium professional.

To calculate tank volume:
Multiply length × width × water level height (in cm), then divide by 1,000 to obtain the number of litres.

• 1.66 mg Aminacrine hydrochloride

• 0.025 mg Methylene blue
